Marjoryanna Veney Sumiel (Margie) has been blessed by God with the gift of creativity. In 1990, at the age of 17, she graduated from Rappahannock High School and completed a two-year course at Northern Neck Vocational Center. Then she became a licensed cosmetologist and successfully completed a modeling class at Rappahannock Community College being voted " The Best Model" in her class. Margie relocated to Virginia Beach and worked at JcPenny's Hair Salon as part of the styling team of 30 beauticians and was recognized as one of the top stylists. The highlight of her success was writing and publishing a hair magazine in 2011 named "Studio Unique Magazine" Divine Styles and more where she showcased various styles and businesses.

Margie's love for youth and her gifted art of praise dancing shows through her Ministry of the Kingdom Praisers of Mount Olive Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor K. Lionel Richards.

Margie has starred in several plays over the years, written and directed by Mrs. Ann Veney. She was also mentored by Mrs. Meta Sampson as she wrote and co-directed along with Sista's Divine, a Christian Play for New Zion Baptist Church.

God gave Margie  the vision inspiration, and determination to write and direct the stage play being performed tonight "I've Been Changed." Margie's favorite saying is: "Jesus keep near the cross."
